A small seat and a fuel tank give the design a narrow profile and the appearance of a traditional dirt bike. It is constructed on a perimeter frame made of lightweight aluminum, an improvement over the previous model.

The Kawasaki KX450SR gets powered by a 449cc, 4-stroke single, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine that generates a maximum horsepower of 60.5 horsepower.

The bike incorporates polished intake ports that provide smoother airflow for increased engine performance.

The engine covers have a smooth surface so that the rider’s movement on the motorbike is not restricted.

A reworked swingarm further aids the altered stiffness balance and more excellent rear traction. The three maps (or riding modes) available on the engine control unit are standard, harsh, and soft.

The Kawasaki KX450SR also receives a factory-style launch control technology that aids riders in gaining the most grip possible while taking off on slippery ground.

If you divert the bike on a rough surface and need to move immediately, there is an electronic start for speedy starting.

Pushing a button starts the KX450SR engine’s electric start, powered by a small Lithium-ion battery. The new lithium-ion battery that is small, light, and doesn’t add weight is added. The Kawasaki KX450SR has the unique benefit of adjustable rider ergonomics. While the footpegs may be mounted in just two locations, the handlebar can get fixed in four different positions.

The Kawasaki KX450SR has a 5-speed manual transmission with a wet multi-disc manual clutch and a hydraulic clutch actuation for return shift.

The front suspension on the Kawasaki KX450SR is a KYB 48mm fork with adjustable compression and rebound damping and 12.4 inches of travel. The rear suspension is a KYB shock with adjustable spring preload, high- and low-speed compression damping, rebound damping, and 12.1 inches of travel.

The Kawasaki KX450SR has Nissin’s 2-piston caliper and 270mm disc on the front brake and Nissin’s 1-piston caliper and 250mm disc on the rear brake.
