TM MX 450 ES FI 4T gets powered by a 449 cc single-cylinder and four-stroke engine. The bike has a fuel injection system with a double overhead twin cam for fuel control.
The engine is liquid-cooled with a chain transmission and has a bore and stroke of 95 mm and 63.4 mm, respectively.
The main features of the MX 450 ES FI 4T include a revised mapping system for the new launch, which helps in the power delivery of the bike and its performance.
Apart from the new features, the existing ones include the KYB fork, Racing shock, etc. The ES in the bike name denotes ‘Electric Start,’ which is done by a new lightweight lithium-ion battery. This battery gets recharged when the engine runs by the electrical system.
The CNC machined billet aluminum hubs with anodized Excel rims get the latest spoke arrangements with a ‘tapering’ design profile. The wheel setup works for better strength and wheel component durability.
The parts used are of high quality and are designed for durability and performance, and the ‘Fresh Air’ intake system allows filtration of air that provides cleaner air.
The triple clamps are CNC machined from block aluminum, and the clamps are intricate, giving a strong structure and keeping the weight to a minimum.
The TM MX 450 ES Fi 4T has a 5-speed transmission with chain transmission.
For suspension, the bike has 48 mm Kayaba, which offers a front wheel travel of 310 mm, and a TM Racing mainshock for its rear suspension, which provides wheel travel of 300 mm.
The forks improve performance on different terrains, still controlled by a more favorable spring and oil setup. The TM Racing shock absorber got some large internal changes, but still, it has the latest ‘seal’ system, which works to lessen the friction and increase the shock performance.
The 270 mm single-disc Brembo brakes in the front and 245 mm single-disc Nissin brakes in the rear perform the braking duties. So, the rider gets better control when it comes to halting the bike.
