Recently, Yamaha announced the redesigned Yamaha YZ450F dirt bike, which features a significantly modified engine, bigger radiators, an electronic starter, and a thin lithium-ion battery.
A much lighter, thinner body with improved ergonomics for more control, a lighter, more compact engine that produces even more power, and enhanced handling with higher agility while keeping superb stability.
The all-new 450cc engine is lighter, more compact, and has more power across the rev range. It keeps the Yamaha YZ450F’s legendary ease of use and incredible pulling power while raising the rev limit by 500 rpm for more top-end power.
One of the many high-end features of the YZ450F is its 1-1/8-inch aluminum tapered handlebars. Wide footpegs, a new compact PVC handlebar pad, and a new lightweight throttle cable are all excellent additions to the design.
A quick-adjust clutch perch, fashionable blue rims, and a light gold drive chain with a new chain guide are designed just for the YZ450F.
The smooth, rounded elements, from seat edges and side covers to a narrower fuel tank and front shroud, give the bike a sharp look.
The bikes get redesigned with a slimmer body for better ergonomics and a new Power Tuner app. It has expanded legroom between the seat and footpegs, and the handlebar position works for an ergonomic riding position. These changes contribute to the rider triangle.
Yamaha YZ450F comes in one color::
Yamaha YZ450F has one variant:
The all-new 450cc liquid-cooled DOHC 4-stroke engine of the Yamaha YZ450F features four titanium valves. The Yamaha YZ450F has a 60.8mm stroke and a bore of 97.0 mm. To allow for longer over-revs while keeping the YZ450F’s wide power nature, the rev limit is also raised by 500 rpm.
The industry-leading Power Tuner App from Yamaha has undergone extensive updates, maintaining all of the functionality of the last edition while being even easier to use and understand.
A simple new slide bar may now be used to map engines. A new lap timer, Traction and Launch Control settings, and bike set-up instructions are now included. The best part is that it’s free.
The redesigned aluminum bilateral beam frame provides the right strength and flex for stability and balance.
Each wheel’s cross-sectional contour is carefully designed with computer assistance to save weight without compromising durability. The rear wheel of the YZ450F has three cross-spokes for better rider comfort and impact absorption.
The Yamaha YZ450F has a 5-Speed gear transmission that completes the bike significantly.
A High-quality, completely adjustable suspension detects speed forks made with coil springs from KYB® offers excellent bump absorption. The front fork now has toolless compression clickers for simple adjustment, which is new for 2023. Redesigned KYB® shock damping characteristics are used in the linkage-type rear suspension to fit the new YZ450F’s chassis.
Excellent braking performance is achieved by combining a Nissin caliper with a huge 270mm front brake rotor. Rear brake sensation is enhanced in the back by lowering the stiffness of the brake hose, giving the driver more control at the pedal.
